چگونه بنویسیم که خواننده از ابتدا تا انتهای داستان همراه نویسنده حرکت کند و نه تنها همراه نویسنده باشد که با لذت و بدون اینکه یک لحظه کتاب را از خود جدا کند، پا به پای نویسنده جلو رود.
شخصیت های یک داستان چگونه پرورانده شوند که خواننده احساس کند، شخصیت های خیالی داستان، افرادی هستند صاحب پوست، گوشت و خون که حتی صدای نفس کشیدنشان شنیده می شود و بعد از کنار گذاردن کتاب، آن ها را زنده تر از اطرافیان خود ببیند و آن گونه با دنیای کتاب ارتباط برقرار کند که ارتباطش با محیط اطراف بریده شود.
یکی از عواملی که مخاطب با داستان ارتباط نزدیکی برقرار می کند، گفتگو است. حال این گفتگوها یا گفتگوی شخصیت ها با یکدیگر است یا گفتگوی درونی شخص با خودش.
در روند داستان هر چه حضور نویسنده نامرئی تر باشد و خواننده با پیش روی داستان و یا گفتگوی شخصیت ها ارتباط وقایع را درک کند، داستان جذاب تر است. حال این که، گفتگوها چطور پرورده شوند، بسته به درک نویسنده از موقعیت افراد در اجتماع دارد نویسنده تازه کار نثرش یکدست است و تمام شخصیت های داستانش یک جور یا نامتناسب با موقعیت اجتماعی شان حرف می زنند، همین امر مانع از آن می شود که مخاطب ارتباط نزدیکی با داستان برقرار کنند.
مقدمه:
حسن عابدینی در انتقاد از داستان های علی محمد افغانی این گونه می نویسد:
«شخصیت ها به شیوه ای رئالیستی پرداخت نشده اند، اعمال آنان باور نکردنی است و گفتارشان با وضعیت روحی و زیستی شان منطبق نیست. مثلا روستاییان همچون اقتصاددانان و سیاستمداران درباره اقتصاد، ماشینی کردن کشاورزی و اصول بهره کشی بحث می کنند.»( عابدینی حسن 1386؛ 532)
در اجتماعی که زندگی می کنیم، هر روز با افراد زیادی در ارتباط هستیم؛ رانندگان تاکسی در مورد چه چیزی حرف می زنند و یا لحن صدایشان چگونه است؟ مطمئنا طرز گفتگوی آنها با رانندگان کامیون متفاوت است. حتی طرز راه رفتن شان با یکدیگر فرق می کند.«به این ترتیب گونه ی کاربردی ای که هر فرد در جریان ارتباط بر می گزیند، بیان گر جای گاه اجتماعی وی است.»(مهاجر مهران، نبوی محمد 1376: 34)
زبان افراد بسته به سن، جنس(مرد و زن) تحصیلات، طبقه اجتماعی، شغل و... مختلف است.
«یک زن مدپرست باید مثل یک زن مدپرست حرف بزند. یک زن هرزه مثل یک زن هرزه و... صحبتها، باید برای نشان دادن خصوصیات اخلاقی و روحی و فکری کسانی که حرف می زنند، و برای جلو بردن داستان به کار رود.»(موام سامرست: 11)
باید توجه داشته باشیم که زبان هر فردی بنا به شرایط مختلفی که در آن قرار می گیرد تغییر می کند.
