در روز ۵ مارس سال ۱۹۵۳، ژوزف استالین پیشوای اتحاد جماهیر شوروی سابق درگذشت. حیات سیاسی او به عنوان خودکامه ای که بر زندگی میلیون ها انسان استیلا داشت طی چند دهه مورد تجزیه و تحلیل و موشکافی قرار گرفته است. اما حدس و گمان و حتی جدال درباره آخرین روزهای زندگی او همچنان ادامه دارد. آیا استالین پس از خونریزی مغزی به دلایل طبیعی جان باخت یا چون قصد هدایت اتحاد جماهیر شوروی به سوی جنگی نافرخنده را داشت توسط اطرافیانش به قتل رسید؟ خاطرات لوزگاچف از وقایع آن شب، رادزینسکی را درباره علت واقعی خونریزی مغزی و مرگ استالین به شک انداخت. محافظ استالین تایید کرد که آن شب نه خود استالین بلکه خروستالف، سرمحافظ استالین بود که دستور آزادباش را داده بود. لوزگاچف گفت: “اگر استالین بود به طعنه از محافظان می پرسید: “می خواهید به رختخواب بروید؟” و چنان به ما خیره می شد که ما جرات نمی کردیم بگوییم بله! بنابراین ما از شنیدن دستور خروستالف حسابی شاد شدیم و بدون آنکه به آن فکر کنیم به رختخواب رفتیم.” صبح روز بعد استالین تا دیروقت از اتاقش خارج نشد. محافظان به تدریج نگران حال او شدند، اما هیچکدام جرات نداشتند به اتاق او بروند. آنها حق نداشتند مزاحم استالین شوند مگر آنکه او شخصا آنها را فرابخواند.

زبان چیست؟
بنابر گواهی تاریخ، بشر از دیرباز به صورت اجتماعی می زیسته و یکی از مهم ترین نیازهای آدمی در زندگی اجتماعی برقراری ارتباط با همنوعان و ایجاد تفهیم و تفاهم است. بشر همواره برای برقراری ارتباط در جوامع خود از وسایل و ابزارهای مختلفی سود می جسته که در این میان «زبان» مهم ترین ابزار او به شمار می آید.
بنابر آن زبان یک نهاد اجتماعی است. بدین معنی که افراد یک اجتماع به منظور آگاهی از مقاصد و نیات یکدیگر و برای برقراری یا یکدیگر عناصر آنرا برقرار کرده اند. زبان نه تنها مهم ترین وسیله ارتباطی بشر بلکه پایه اغلب نهادهای دیگر اجتماعی نیز می باشد و به دلیل سرشت اجتماعی خود هماهنگ با اختلاف اجتماعات، مختلف است. به سخن دیگر، با اینکه این نهاد در همه اجتماعات بشری وجود دارد و وظیفه و نقش آن در همه جا یکسان است، ولی شکل آن بنابر نیازهای اجتماعات بشری در همه جوامع یکسان نیست و نحوه عمل آن در هر اجتماع با اجتماع دیگر آشکارا تفاوت دارد. به طوری که هر شکلی از زبان فقط در میان افراد جامعه معین می تواند وظیفه برقراری ارتباط و تفاهم را به جای آورد.
پیدایش زبان: بیان این نکته که بحث در منشأ زبان از جمله مباحث زبانشناسی نیست ممکن است مورد سوال قرار گیرد اما این معنی که عین حقیقت است و توجه نکردن به این نکته سبب شده است که همه کسانی که از صد سال پیش تا کنون درباره پیدایش زبان گفتگو کرده اند یکسره به خطا بروند. نقص عمده کار ایشان آن بوده است که این معنی را از جنبه زبانشناسی مورد بحث قرار داده و پنداشته که مسأله پیدایش زبان با مبحث اصلی و مبنای زبانها یکی است.

What You’ll Learn
In the first 10 lessons, you’ll cover the basics: saying hello, asking for or giving information, scheduling a meal or a meeting, asking for or giving basic directions, and much more. In the next 10 lessons, you’ll build on what you’ve learned.
